.juegos is a top-level domain (TLD) that was successfully delegated to the Root Zone of the Domain Name System (DNS) by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) on May 15, 2014. The name .juegos translates to "games" in Spanish. Uniregistry, Corp., a new registry company founded by domain investor Frank Schilling, is the Registry Operator for this gTLD. Uniregistry had invested $60 million on 54 gTLD applications as part of ICANN's New gTLD Program.
The acquisition of .juegos by Uniregistry was not a straightforward process, however. In February 2014, it was reported that Uniregistry and Donuts (Goose Gardens, LLC) reached a private deal which resolved several New gTLD string contention sets between the two companies. This marked the first private deals for Uniregistry in the New gTLD Program, as the company had initially questioned their legality. In this deal, Donuts became the sole applicant for .furniture, .auction, and .gratis, while Uniregistry won the right to operate .juegos. After passing all necessary processes, Uniregistry received a Registry Agreement from ICANN on March 20, 2014, and .juegos was delegated to the Root Zone on May 15, 2014. There are no known restrictions for owning or registering a .juegos domain.
